Get ‘em while they’re hot!

This week just keeps kicking @$$ for Underground Signs. We have you new friends to thank for that - and because we love you all so much - we’re offering Underground Signs followers some sweet discounts this month:

The design team over at ONLY NY popped in our studio space at the Brooklyn Navy Yards recently to talk shop and get their custom ONLY subway sign made. We ended up playing with their dog, spilling the beans on how Underground Signs got started, and giving them a tour of our production facilities. Read the full feature here, and learn more about why we love New York City so much.

In promotion of the ONLY Underground Signs feature, we are offering 15% off any signs purchased. Use code “ONLY” during checkout or mention the offer with phone orders.

Not only do we love New York City-based designers, but we also have a thing for handy craftsmen. That’s why we are such big fans of the Dude Craft community. Thankfully, the founder (Paul) loves us right back and offered us some prime sponsorship this month. You can reap the rewards by also scoring a 15% discount when using the “Dude Craft” coupon code on all online purchases. Support the craft and get a discount, not bad right?

*Please retrieve all coupon code purchases for Underground Signs at www.underground-signs.com

News Round Up

In case you’ve missed some of our recent annoncements, here’s what’s going on with Underground Signs as of late and this coming fall:

  • Open House New York will be doing a special segment at the Brooklyn Navy Yard featuring our little company, Underground Signs where you’ll get to see our main office HQs
  • Our signature NYC Subway signs were used in Clorox’s “Ode to the Commode” campaign and presented by the lovely and hilarious, Niecy Nash
  • Our “Wall St” station sign will be getting its 15 minutes of fame in the upcoming indie flick, Loosies!

Also in the works is kinking out our new production model that’s entirely based here in Brooklyn, which means turn around time is much speedier and customization more flexible. Our site is also undergoing some maintenance so if you have any feedback for us, shoot us a message. Last but not least, we are working on more promotions so that you all can score some sweet discounts with some new friends of ours in the design world.

Thanks for the follows, likes, and reblogs! Keep ‘em coming!

neighborhoodr-prospectheights:

Underground Signs is your stop for custom and replica New York City subway signs officially licensed by the MTA. We aim to bring NYC urban design to your home or office and share as a gift for friends and family. Our team resides in Prospect Heights, with production offices at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, so we proudly are a local start-up hoping to reach fans of New York City subways, Helvetica fandom, and transit experiences.

Just a reminder to read up on our little mention over at Time Out New York.

Those guys could really use a subway sign to decorate their offices. Be sure to check out Underground Signs listed in their shopping section as well!
